Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real-time communication technologies and be proficient in Go, Python, React, and JavaScript or TypeScript. In this role, you will be responsible for driving our product forward by implementing new product features, creating and maintaining APIs, and ensuring a seamless experience across our platforms in service of our mission of delivering exceptional VR experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure APIs.
- Design and implement real-time communication features using WebRTC.
- Build, test, and deploy full-stack applications, including React web applications with a focus on performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to bring innovative solutions to the team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of full-stack development experience.
- Technologies: Proficiency in Go (Golang) or similar language, Python, and React.js or TypeScript.
- Real-Time Communication: Experience with WebRTC or similar real-time communication technologies.
- API Development: Proven experience in designing and maintaining APIs.
- Database Management: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Experience designing, building, and managing cloud-based applications and services using Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Version Control: Proficient in using Git.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Docker and containerization.
- Knowledge of VR/AR development and technologies.
- Previous experience in a start-up or fast-paced environment.
- Experience with C#
