The Central Regional Sales Director – Healthcare & Education is responsible for generating new revenue and expanding existing customer relationships across both clinical and education markets. This individual contributor will sell into clinics, therapy practices, behavioral health organizations, and human services providers, as well as K–12 school districts, charter and private schools, vocational and adult residencies, and state education agencies.
At Floreo, success is driven by a highly collaborative, team-oriented culture. This role requires someone who operates with a solutions-first mindset, takes ownership, and thrives as a self-starter in a fast-paced, evolving environment. The ideal candidate brings experience selling prescription-based or clinically utilized technologies, including digital therapeutics (DTx), software as a medical device (SaMD), or other regulated solutions and understands the unique procurement, funding, and decision-making dynamics of the education sector, including IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act)/special education funding pathways and the role of IEP teams in technology adoption. This person can credibly engage clinical, administrative, and operational stakeholders, and as well as special education directors, district administrators and state-level program officers.
Responsibilities
Drive New Business & Pipeline Development
- Generate leads and prospect across both healthcare and education markets - including clinics, therapy practices, behavioral health organizations, and human services providers, as well as school districts, charter and private schools, and state education agencies
- Build and manage a robust pipeline that targets high-value clinical accounts alongside special education departments, student support services, and district technology offices
- Develop territory strategies that prioritize high-value accounts and accelerate time to close across both verticals
- Navigate public sector procurement processes - including RFPs, pilot programs, and grant-funded purchasing -alongside healthcare contracting pathways
Lead Consultative Sales Cycles
- Manage full-cycle sales from initial outreach through close, including the multi-stakeholder consensus-building common in both clinical and district-level decisions
- Conduct discovery to understand clinical workflows, reimbursement context, and operational needs - as well as IEP goals, classroom workflows, and district technology adoption criteria
- Position Floreo’s platform, including its SaMD pathway, in terms relevant to clinical and administrative buyers, special education outcomes, compliance requirements, and educator workflows
Manage & Expand Customer Relationships
- Own the customer relationship lifecycle and identify expansion opportunities in assigned territory across clinical sites and service lines, and across buildings, grade levels, and district-wide rollouts
- Ensure customers are realizing measurable value from the Floreo platform- supporting retention and growth in clinical settings, and measurable outcomes for neurodiverse students in school settings
- Serve as the voice of the customer internally, informing product, market access, and go-to-market strategy across both healthcare and education
Collaborate & Contribute to Team Success
- Work closely with Market Access, Engineering, Legal, and clinical teams to align sales efforts with Floreo’s broader commercialization milestones across both healthcare and education
- Actively contribute to a team-based selling environment, sharing market intelligence, supporting peers, and reinforcing a culture of accountability
- Assist in the documentation and refinement of Floreo’s 2026 commercialization playbooks across both clinical and EdTech motions

- Provide regular reporting to VP of Sales on territory performance, procurement cycles, and market dynamics across both healthcare and education
Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales experience spanning DTx, SaMD, medical device, or clinical technology sales and/or EdTech, special education technology, or related education sector roles

- Strong understanding of clinical workflows and the ability to engage both clinical and administrative stakeholders
- Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration and communication skills
- Self-starter with high accountability and comfort operating in an evolving, early-stage environment

Who You Are
You are a relationship-driven sales professional who leads with curiosity and earns trust by understanding the problems clinicians, administrators, educators, and special education directors are trying to solve. You understand both the clinical buying motion and/or the education sector from the inside out to include budget cycles, committee decisions, IEP meetings, reimbursement context, and the genuine passion clinicians and educators bring to supporting neurodiverse individuals. You possess the technical knowledge to navigate complex clinical and SaMD go-to-market dynamics and the instructional ability to mentor and onboard other team members across both motions. You bring both the discipline of a seasoned sales representative and the adaptability of someone who thrives when the playbook is still being written. You are motivated by mission- improving outcomes for neurodiverse individuals and families and you see every customer conversation as a direct investment in the people Floreo serves.
You will thrive here if you are:
- A collaborative team player who shares wins and supports peers
- A self-starter who takes initiative without waiting for direction
- Solutions-oriented - surface problems with proposed solutions
- Relationship-driven and focused on long-term customer success over quick transactions
- Comfortable with longer sales cycles and multi-stakeholder decision processes
- Adaptable and energized by growth-stage ambiguity
This role may not be the right fit if you:
- Prefer to work independently with minimal team collaboration
- Require a short, transactional sales cycle or a fully defined playbook
- Are uncomfortable navigating complex procurement processes or committee-based decisions
- Are primarily transaction-focused rather than relationship-focused
- Are uncomfortable with ambiguity or evolving priorities
