Floreo Blog

A Look Back

Written by Rita Solórzano | December 17, 2025

December is a great time to pause and reflect—to look back on the ideas that have shaped who Floreo is for and the many ways its content can be used. As 2025 wraps up, this feels like a good moment to highlight a few past blog posts our readers might have missed. These posts dive into how Floreo helps kids (and adults) pick up on the subtle, unspoken parts of communication, uncover unexpected learning opportunities—like math concepts—within our VR lessons, and explore the meaningful impact Jane Goodall has had on Floreo.

Beyond the Words: The way people look and the way people sound when they communicate conveys the majority of the communicative message being delivered. This blog posts discusses why it is critIcally important to help Floreo Learners pick up on those subtle, unspoken parts of communication.

Reinforce Math Concepts in Floreo: Math concepts are everywhere in the world around us, and Floreo environments are no exception. While Floreo hasn’t designed lessons specifically for math, the platform can still be used to support and reinforce a variety of math-related skills. This blog post highlights ways to target math concepts within Floreo environments. (And for more advanced skills, be sure to check out the practical applications covered in this post: Math Puzzles in the Floreo Movie Theater.)

The Curiosity and Compassion of Jane Goodall: To date, Floreo offers 31 nature videos in its library, enjoyed by many customers for both learning and enjoyment. Several of these VR lessons feature an introduction from ethologist and humanitarian: Jane Goodall. Her words in the introduction are especially worth repeating, as they resonate with both virtual reality and life itself: Look all around you. Be curious. Be inspired.

We look forward to presenting you with many, many more learning opportunities in 2026. In the meantime, from our team to yours: Have a safe and happy holiday season.
