With Floreo's growing library, it can be tricky for some Coaches to know which lessons to introduce first to Learners. It's important to introduce the VR learning experiences in a way that lets Learners know that there is something safe and fun to see and do when wearing the headset.
Starting with a short experience (such as, Snowfall or Hang Out in the Aquarium) will give a Learner an impression of the VR space. In lessons such as, Play the Marimba, or Find the Fish and Meet the Animals, the experience can provide Learners an understanding that they can impact the environment simply by looking at it. This short time in VR gives the Coach an opportunity to check with the Learner after a short time, to monitor whether the Learner's eyes look tired and get a sense of how the Learner is responding to the VR sensation. These lessons can also set the expectation for Learners that the headset can be removed quickly if needed and they can immediately return to the real world. These lessons may be especially helpful for Learners who are initially apprehensive or for those who have limited communication skills.
In general, we recommend that you start most Learners in a lesson that keeps the Learner in a fixed space, that is, allowing for head movement and body rotation, but not providing the feeling as if the Learner is moving forward. Most of our lessons keep the Learner in a fixed point in space, though it is always a good idea to try the VR experience yourself before presenting it to your Learners.

Our AI recommendations tool which is available when you log in to the portal is another source for finding introductory lessons specific to your Learner's needs. Once Learners begin to discover how much fun Floreo can be, their ability to stay in VR for the longer learning experience is often a quick transition.
