Sinan Turnacioglu, MD

Clinical Consultant

Dr. Turnacioglu has had extensive experience caring for patients with autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and related neurodevelopmental disorders, and has a long-standing interest in innovative approaches to treatment. He has been a member of the Floreo team since 2016, managing research projects and supporting content development. 


Dr. Turnacioglu has also served as an investigator in clinical pharmaceutical trials for autism spectrum disorder and Fragile X syndrome. He led efforts to provide diagnostic services to underserved children with neurodevelopmental disorders in Washington, DC, and launched the specialty clinic for individuals with Fragile X syndrome at Children's National Health System. 


Dr. Turnacioglu currently lives in Bethesda, Maryland with his wife, two children, and their dog. He completed his residency in pediatrics at Georgetown University Medical Center and practiced general pediatrics for five years before completing additional training in neurodevelopmental disabilities at Children's National. He enjoys running, playing tabletop games, and reading. He is a two-time Jeopardy! Champion.
