Floreo SkillsXP provides a safe, engaging virtual learning environment for neurodiverse learners to practice communication and social skills at their own pace. Now available through Connecticut's Assistive Technology program.
Floreo VR is an FDA breakthrough designated device for neurodiverse learners of any age and ability. Through Connecticut's Assistive Technology program, eligible individuals can access this innovative therapy modality at no direct cost to families.
CT DDS Assistive Technology program
Your CT DDS-qualified AT provider will help you complete the CT assessment process, obtain authorization, and procure Floreo through the DDS process.
For participants aged 4 and up
Requires assessment and approval from your DDS qualified Assistive Technology provider
Floreo partners seamlessly with Connecticut's Assistive Technology program to provide accessible, innovative therapy.
Get Approval
You can request Floreo SkillsXP from your DDS-qualified Assistive Technology Provider.
Receive Your Equipment
If needed, we can provide all necessary equipment, including the VR headset, coach device and access to the Floreo SkillsXP platform.
Guide Your Learner
Take an active role in your learner’s experience, guiding them through immersive VR lessons while providing support and encouragement along the way.

Using Floreo SkillsXP
Floreo lessons are viewed through the mobile VR headset by the Learner, while a Coach follows along on an iPad / iPhone to guide progress throughout the experience.

The coaching device(s) and learning VR headset are paired to the Floreo app.

The VR headset is put on the Learner to stream the lesson. The Learner experiences the immersive experience.

The VR lesson is streamed in real-time to the coaching device.

The coaching device uses a co-pilot mode to direct the lesson and learning experience, providing guidance, instructions, and praise language throughout.

Review the Learner's lesson completion and progress in the Floreo portal.
