Who Can Access Floreo

Floreo VR is an FDA breakthrough designated device for neurodiverse learners of any age and ability. Through Wisconsin’s waiver programs, eligible individuals can access this innovative therapy modality at no direct cost to families.

CLTS Waiver

The Children's Long-Term Support (CLTS) Program helps children with disabilities and their families through supports and services that help children grow and live their best lives in their home and community.

  • For children under age 22

  • Requires functional eligibility determination

IRIS Program

IRIS (Include, Respect, I Self-Direct) is Wisconsin's self-directed program for adults with disabilities and elderly people. It empowers individuals to self-direct their long-term care needs.

How it Works Together

Floreo partners seamlessly with Wisconsin's waiver programs to provide accessible, innovative therapy.

  • Get Approval

    Once approved for CLTS or IRIS, you can request Floreo SkillsXP as part of your support plan or self-directed budget.
  • Receive Your Equipment

    We provide all necessary equipment, including the VR headset, coach device and access to the Floreo SkillsXP platform.

  • Guide Your Learner

    Take an active role in your learner’s experience, guiding them through immersive VR lessons while providing support and encouragement.

Based on proven techniques for building social connections, managing planned and unplanned events, and responding to sensory overload. Carefully designed with sensory-sensitive individuals in mind to help provide extra support to parents and caregivers. A parent/caregiver driven experience to guide progress and promote growth.

Programs for participants in the Children's Long-Term Support program in Wisconsin are paid for by the CLTS waiver using Assistive Technology and Communication Aid Services 112.99-T2028. Participants in the IRIS program can use self-directed funds to purchase access to Floreo SkillsXP.

Using Floreo SkillsXP

Floreo lessons are viewed through the mobile VR headset by the Learner, while a Coach follows along on an iPad / iPhone to guide progress throughout the experience.

The VR headset is put on the Learner to stream the lesson. The Learner experiences the immersive experience.

Review the Learner's lesson completion and progress in the Floreo portal.
