2023 was an exciting year for Floreo; 2024 will be even better!

By Heather | Jan 4, 2024
As the new year begins, we have been reflecting on the remarkable community we’ve built together at Floreo. Our amazing Coaches have provided thousands of hours of therapy to positively impact hundreds of Learners. 2023 was a milestone year for us starting off with the Floreo-sponsored CPT III code 0770T for virtual reality-assisted therapy going live on January 1 and culminating with our being granted Breakthrough Device Designation by FDA at the end of the year. In between, our collaboration with Meta got Floreo into the hands of many deserving educators and we released lots of fresh, new content and loved hearing how much our customers enjoyed it!

We look to 2024 with continued enthusiasm for our work and the Coaches and Learners that we support. You inspire us every day and we can't wait to unveil exciting new projects to you soon!

In case you missed it...

Floreo Peer Interactions at All Age Levels: Understanding one's own peer interactions is an evolving skill. Once skills are learned at one age, the Learner, the peers, and the circumstances, all change as do the expectations of any person trying to communicate within that interaction. The Floreo approach has a great many advantages for developing peer interactions, not the least of which is the feature of being able to slow the interaction down long enough for the Learner to understand what is happening.

For young learners: try the play-based peer lessons including: Magic Mix: Who's Next?, Cloud Chronicles, and Painting with Friends.

For middle schoolers and early high schoolers: check out the peer-based lessons in the School Social skill category, which focus on hallway interactions and cafeteria interactions.

For transitioning youth and adults: consider the teamwork lessons including Teamwork: Cooperative Work,Teamwork: Communication, Teamwork: Collaboration & Compromise.
