Exciting news: Floreo received Breakthrough Device designation from FDA

We are thrilled to share that Flore has been granted FDA Breakthrough Device Designation and been accepted into FDA's Total Advisory Product Lifecycle (TAP) Pilot program. The combination of these two FDA programs will streamline our path to full market authorization and commercialization.

Did you ever notice...?: In Scan the Store Shelves, when Learners are given support, they are directed to scan from left to right, row by row, top to bottom. This is the same direction that eyes need to scan when reading on the page in most languages. This pattern was put in this lesson intentionally to support Learners who are still learning to scan a page of written text. Thank you to our OT friends for this suggestion!

Prior to working at Floreo, Heather worked at Trove (a news start-up) and eBay for Charity. Heather holds an A.B. from Dartmouth College, where she also played varsity basketball (and won an Ivy League Championship) and a M.Ed. from the University of Mary Washington. In her free time she enjoys reading, tennis, skiing, and hiking around Western North Carolina with her husband, two sons, and adorable lab mix, Pepper.
