Exciting news! We're thrilled to announce a brand new, Floreo lesson featuring interactive AI characters designed for freeform conversations! This innovative experience allows Learners to practice communication skills in a dynamic and engaging way, fostering confidence and creativity. Participation in these optional lessons requires consent to use the microphone and these generative AI features.

Your Learners can explore diverse topics and scenarios, all while enjoying the supportive environment that Floreo offers. Help enhance conversational skills like never before!

We've also revamped one of our perenially popular lessons: our Airport Security lesson. Enjoy practice with a more realistic experience including new characters, additional distractions, and the opportunity to practice being pulled out of the line for additional questioning by the TSA officers.

If you haven't yet subscribed to Floreo, now is a great time to get access to these great lessons (and our recent water safety lesson!). Email us at info@floreovr.com to speak to a member of the Floreo team about your subscription options.

Using Floreo in your clinic, school, or home

INFO FROM OUR DIRECTOR OF APPLIED DIGITAL THERAPY

Floreo's Director of Applied Digital Therapy, Rita Solórzano MA, CCC-SLP, is a Speech Language Pathologist with over 30 years of experience.

Many of the Floreo Emotional Regulation lessons focus on body awareness. Awareness of one's own body can play a significant role in understanding and managing one's stress level. It is also important for learning new physical movements, for identifying physical needs (for example, discomfort or pain one might be experiencing), and for building strong social relationships.

Attention Medicaid Families

FLOREO SUBSCRIPTIONS MAY BE COVERED

Did you know that Floreo has programs in place with several state waivers? These programs, like the Children's Long Term Support waiver in Wisconsin, or the MAPS program in Tennesee will pay for a Floreo subscription and equipment rental for participating families. We have also had success with families in other states using self-directed funds or funds for assistive technology to purchase a Floreo subscription.

The best place to start is with your family's service coordinator. Chat with them to see if they can help get a Floreo subscription in place. And if they have any questions, we're always happy to help!

Funding ideas

HOW CAN WE HELP YOU GAIN FUNDING FOR FLOREO?

We know that budgets can be tight, and we want to help get Floreo into the hands of anyone who needs it! Please let us know if you need help writing up your DonorsChoose application or with information for a grant you have identified. This is a great resource to find available grants.

IDEA and Title I funds are also great sources to help you access a Floreo subscription.
