Floreo on Capitol Hill!

Members of the Floreo team visited Capitol Hill along with colleagues from the Digital Therapeutics Alliance at the end of June to provide information on Floreo and other digital therapeutics to members of Congress and their staff.

Make your voice heard by letting your members of Congress know that you support the Access to Prescription Digital Therapeutics Act of 2023 (S. 723/H.R. 1458)! One of DTA's top priorities for 2023, this bill will enable public coverage of prescription digital therapeutics, defined in this bill as a product that uses software to achieve its intended result, is cleared or approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the prevention, management, or treatment of a medical condition, and is authorized by a qualified, licensed clinician.

If passed, the Access to Prescription Digital Therapeutics Act will establish a payment methodology for manufacturers of prescription digital therapeutics, product-specific Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) codes, and a DTx manufacturer reporting process to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

This legislation comes at a critical moment for patients and marks an important step toward expanded patient access to DTx therapies for a wide range of conditions.

Floreo Immersive Learning Program

We are thrilled to announce the Floreo Immersive Learning Program, a unique opportunity for schools to bring Floreo to neurodiverse students.

In collaboration with Meta, the program is for neurodiverse students ages 13 and above and includes free Meta Quest 2 headsets for schools. In addition, we are providing a Floreo Classroom Bundle for the low setup cost of only $500 through the 2023/2024 school year for participating schools. And we’re so excited that 40+ school districts have already taken advantage of this program.

Heather is Floreo's Director of Customer Success. She makes sure that all of Floreo's customers are comfortable and confident using Floreo. Prior to working at Floreo, Heather worked at Trove (a news start-up) and eBay for Charity. Heather holds an A.B. from Dartmouth College, where she also played varsity basketball (and won an Ivy League Championship) and a M.Ed. from the University of Mary Washington. In her free time she enjoys reading, tennis, skiing, and hiking around Western North Carolina with her husband, two sons, and adorable lab mix, Pepper.
