With so many Floreo lessons, which ones are right for you?

With the hustle and bustle of the holidays behind us, it is a great time to consider the ways that Floreo can help your Learner work on skills and goals. If you are in an area affected by extreme weather, VR is a flexible medium to teach hard-to-teach skills without leaving the comfort of your home, classroom, or clinic. Our lesson library is easy to navigate to learn more about all of the lessons we have to offer. Click on each lesson to read the description and objective and help build the best plan for your Learner.

Floreo has built-in recommendations for Coaches, making it easy to find the lessons most applicable to your Learner. If you haven't already, we encourage you to complete the whole questionnaire when completing your Learner's profile to get the best possible recommendations. Not a Floreo customer yet? Attention Medicaid Families

FLOREO SUBSCRIPTIONS MAY BE COVERED

Did you know that in Wisconsin and New York families on Medicaid waivers initiated full reimbursed coverage of Floreo in the home?

If your family receives services in your state using a Medicaid waiver, you might be able to get a Floreo subscription (including equipment rental) fully covered by your state program. Reach out to us, and let’s work together to see how we can get Floreo into your home and start making a difference for your Learner.

Floreo's Director of Applied Digital Therapy, Rita Solórzano MA, CCC-SLP, is a Speech Language Pathologist with over 30 years of experience.

Use the grocery store lessons to their maximum potential. Floreo's grocery store lessons, which are great for older students using Floreo, can be implemented to cover a variety of skills, from scanning and reading to problem-solving and planning. Consider using two of these lessons Orienting to the Grocery Store and Scan the Store Shelves to support your Learner in building skills.

HOW CAN WE HELP YOU GAIN FUNDING FOR FLOREO?

We know that budgets can be tight, and we want to help get Floreo into the hands of anyone who needs it! Please let us know if you need help writing up your DonorsChoose application or with information for a grant you have identified. This is a great resource to find available grants.

IDEA and Title I funds are also great sources to help you access a Floreo subscription.

Heather is Floreo's Director of Customer Success. She makes sure that all of Floreo's customers are comfortable and confident using Floreo. Prior to working at Floreo, Heather worked at Trove (a news start-up) and eBay for Charity. Heather holds an A.B. from Dartmouth College, where she also played varsity basketball (and won an Ivy League Championship) and a M.Ed. from the University of Mary Washington. In her free time she enjoys reading, tennis, skiing, and hiking around Western North Carolina with her husband, two sons, and adorable lab mix, Pepper.
